What is renewable energy?

Renewable energy is called when it comes from sources that nature is constantly renewed, as opposed to non-renewable energy stocks are depleted.

Renewable energy comes from two major natural sources: the Sun (the origin of the water cycle, tides, wind and plant growth) and Earth (which gives off heat).

Nicknamed or "green energy" "clean energy", operation generates very little waste and emissions but their energetic power is much lower than that of non-renewable energy.

Renewable energy is divided into 6 categories:

Hydropower:
The force of the water falls retained by dams or the one that powers the accommodation "over water" turns turbines power plants to produce electricity.

Wind energy:
The force of the wind turns the turbines that produce electricity.

Solar power:
The sun's rays heat the water with solar collectors or supply electricity through photovoltaic cells or solar power plants.

The energy of geothermal:
The heat from the basement directly heats the water turns turbines or power plants to produce electricity.

The biomass energy:
The combustion of organic matter (plants, trees, animals, agricultural or urban waste) produces heat or electricity.

Marine energy:

Natural energy flow of sea water and marine material is used to produce electricity. Tidal power turns turbines power plants to produce electricity.
